Well the “PA” stands for Parking Area or the Japanese side of the name. It doesn’t stand for show car or nothing like that. It comes from my experience out in Japan and how the PAs are huge part in the car scene. It is a popular place were people all over will come to gather and just enjoy the car culture. Its that place where if you are going to a track and you need a place to meet that’s on the way. It’s where some of the most iconic places to do street racing or even expressway racing was held. Parking Areas in Japan are just the place to be.
Some have heard of PA Tatsumi right? The small parking lot where exotics and tuners go to do a small circuit race on the expressway! Or what about DAIKOKU FUTOOOOOO!! The famous place where the roads create 3 story loop over the parking area and hosts some of the biggest local car meets… or street drifting!
As you can see from my time in Japan Parking Areas were life!
If anyone has their own experiences feel free to share!
