Yo, it’s me… ya boi!

Now early September I decided to take a month long vacation back in the U.S. of A and man it was nothing but fun!

Flew from Germany straight to Cali.

Cali I picked up my old Silvia! Yup, the black one that’s now a dope custom Bronze/Silver color. Drove all the way to Vegas to store with family and had a good time seeing friends etc. While home I didn’t do much to the Silvia besides just enjoy it and swapped rims to Nismo LMGT2s 1 of 1 build 🥰. Decided flying was too much money to get to Mississippi and Florida so a cross country road trip here we come!

Rented a 2017 Nissan Maxima and that thing was a blast. Longest I’ve ever driven a new car 😂. Doing the road trip I met a guy in Ocean Springs with a LS 240, friends Daniel (Swerv 240sx) and Ryan (Dope everything Jzx100, Jzx110). With all the fun coming to an end back to Germany where Winter has started and the car scene dies.

Back…. why so long?!

Soo normally I will forget to update this due to laziness but this time it was due to work. My job (Air Force) makes me go places…. and those places I don’t do anything Cars 🙄

So yeah, kind of hard to keep a cool update but I’m back now and I should be pretty consistent. At least monthly right?!😅

So to get caught up…

Doing work for a while

Returned home in Germany middle of August and it all began. Coming back to the Supra that sat for over 6 months with nobody to touch it. But why you ask? Well, the car was prepped well for it’s time being stored and just starting a car only does the engine any good. The rest of the drivetrain would need the same as well… it was at that point I didn’t want nobody driving my car 😂. So I made sure that bad boy was good to chill. To prep it I did a fresh oil change, filled the gas tank, put the car on jack stands and lastly unplugged the battery. Pretty much all a car needs. The day I returned back home I did 5 cranks to get the engine fluids circulating before actually starting the car. Then when I was ready the car started and ran as if I never left. Long story short Supra was 👍🏾👌🏾

While I was gone at work a good friend Tim, shared a JDM event with me called “Asia Arena 2018”. I jokingly submitted my car for the show and was accepted within a couple weeks! At first I didn’t plan on going due to it being a 3 day event and 5 hours away from my house. Of course after getting accepted I felt obligated to go 😆. I looked at the event layout and seen a “drift course” area. I asked if I was able to drift and he said of course and FREE OF CHARGE. Welp I’m sold now.

So fast forward to the event, it was dope did some drifting meet some cool people then came back home after the weekend. With winter coming upon us soon I tried to do as much as possible so a quick trip to Nurburgring was a must. Car handled amazing as usual and racing on the ring will reality check the average driver every time. As well as I… getting pulled on my a mid 200whp Golf 😩. So a C7 Corvette decided he can do they same so I made sure to show him I ain’t no #ShutYoMouth. Yup, almost killed the whole family within 2 corners and decided my pride isn’t worth it 😂

So… this was all for the immediate return!

Much needed….

Well well well…..

Looks like I can never keep a consistent blog going. #BusyLife 😂

The biggest update I can think of would be the name change. Lots of “Why?!”s getting thrown around and it’s expected. PA Unlimited was my best try at combining Euro Scene and the Japanese Scene. Japanese scene is easy due to high exposure already and it’s where my heart is. Euro scene I love but not to the level of the Japanese. So it was always unfair of the quality and quantity of Japanese content I’d put out compared to the Euro. So I stopped it all together, found a name that more so suits what I’m about, where I call home, and what I love. Kuni Garage.

Stay tuned for the break down of the name!!

Exhausted Options

Ever since I swapped out my straight pipe for my friends exhaust(much quieter ❤️). Since having this exhaust I’ve been able to:

1. listen to my music and enjoy it

2. Not be afraid to drive past Polizei

3. Not get a headache when driving on the autobahn more than 30 minutes

And last but not least..

4. Listen to all the weird rubs, rocks, and noises the car makes

So with all these pros I had to get another exhaust. Being a 2jz and a Supra sound is key and I really wanted my car to still have that epic 2jz sound in higher rpms but I want a silent rumble at idle. I’m sure my neighbors would love me as well, not having to wake up at 5am with me. While looking for an exhaust first I wanted to make sure it quiet. This immediately knocked out 50% of the common options. Then I wanted cost effective or under $500, yup… this is definitely used exhaust territory here #TeamBroke. To end I wanted it to look good.

With the criteria I had I began to checked every Facebook page, with nothing for sale. I said what the heck and checked popular Supra websites just to see and man the whifbitz exhaust had me drooling… but that cost tho. So, I checked yahoo auctions and ended up on upgarage that had the possibly perfect exhaust. The reason I said possibly is because it is a custom exhaust and looking on YouTube it’s an unpopular setup for a turbo Supra 😩

^ Whifbitz Exhaust 😍

To break it down it’s an HKS HiPower 409 Muffler (this muffler is ONLY made for the NA with a 3″ pipe diameter and a 115mm tip). Then it has the resonator cut out with a straight pipe welded in its place making the full exhaust still straight pipe but with a muffler. As the common HKS Silent HiPower Exhaust is a 3.75″ pipe with a 120mm tip. Listening to all the videos on YouTube the HKS Exhaust has the sounds I’m looking for but oddly enough some cars sound perfect and some are too quiet lol. So it’s a mess and a huge gamble with this exhaust I have coming in.

While ordering this exhaust above I also stumbled upon a passenger seat rail finally for my Bride Eurostar II I’ve been storing as well! Like any car guy, I’m just waiting at the door for the postman!

Nurburgring/ Vaughn Gittin Jr….. Drift Am Nurburgring

Continuing on from last post… I had only 3 1/2 hours of sleep before hearing the alarm go off for me to wake up to hea. Man did I feel like death after driving for 11hrs the day before to only get 3 1/2 hours of sleep. So I at least prepped decent for me to leave quick and get on the road to Nürburgring before 8 so I can get to the drivers meeting/brief. Leaving my house at 6 AM, getting gas at 6:15 and getting on the autobahn by 6:30 and remembering I have everything with me tools wise except my tire iron by 6:45 but too late to go back. Luckily I had a friend that was going to the ring as well so I asked if he can go to my house and pick up my tire iron when he is on his way!

The GPS said I’d arrive at 7:47AM but thank god for 1.1 bar of boost and some good tires I was able to get to there at 7:26 and followed a guy with a E36 drift car on a trailer to ensure I go to the right place. ( always works when you don’t know where to go but you are close) After getting there and getting my wrist band they tell me the brief is at 8:45… boy was a mad because of how much extra sleep I could have gotten but getting there at that time allowed me to meet the owner of New Mode Photography! A guy who spoke perfect English and definitely helped translate everything haha. During the brief there was word that an American Professional Drifter would stop by, and he was doing a shoot on the ring with a mustang.. Yup… you know who it is!

But here are pics of my car kitted and ready for drifitng!

Once the day started this 200sx imediatly caught my attention by how smooth and consistent she was!

Yup… ITS VAUGHN GITTIN JR.!!! He brought his RTR 2017 Mustang out to play and I got to actually tandem with him! He said my car was too fast lol due to me having too much grip in my tires and I need to up the tire pressure or stiffen the rear dampening.

More pics!

Needless to say the day was awesome
Huge shout out to Raphael De Los Reyes for showing me this event so I could attend!

Thanks bro!

Body kit? I’m on it!

Some friends and I were just out on a normal chill day and I got a text from a friend…. no text just pics

I’ve always said if I were to get a kit it would have to be a Ridox or Ridox Rep due to the perfect styling of it. I told Josh this when he came to my house 2 months ago to hand over a gauge cluster for a friend, and he kept that in mind. He messaged me at 2028, or 8:28 PM for my regular people saying there was some fenders for sell for 200 Euro OR BEST OFFER! I had Jake, message the guy on eBay if we can pick up in a week and long story short some miscommunication happened and I ended up saying screw it. I’ll be there tomorrow! He wouldn’t ship due to possibility of if getting messed up so I took the 5 hour one way trip(11 hours total though) to get these fenders. So I go to sleep and wake up at 9 to make sure I’ll be good to do the drive and pick up the fenders. while messaging the guy I ask if he has anything else for sale #MISTAKE. He said he can sell the front bumper and Sideskirts to match which mean’t I had to do it and I needed a bigger vehicle lol. I called SIXT rental cars at 10 and picked up at 11 and was on the road by 12. When I asked the guy to send pics of the kit, this is what I got.

@Supra238 on Instagram BTW

But getting this pics you know its a done deal. So excitement was kicking in.

Van CHECK

Friends and Family CHECK

Long drive next

We get there at 5:30 and upon arrival I seen the kit and instantly fell in love! We loaded up he said he would show us his supra which was beautiful and super clean J-Spec Supra that was without a kit and wheels due to him upgrading. Then we did our long drive back. We got back at exactly 11Pm and since I took of my body kit to attempt the install the kit for the track the next day I had no choice but to stay up longer to finish. Even though I had to wake up at 6am the next morning to head to the track.

After about a solid 30 mins of some zip tie magic this is what I get!

Crappy pics right? Well stay tuned for better pics!

#PAUnlimited!

New Wheels!!

Soo I sold my last set of wheels… and of course I had to throw on my bench team Wheels…

Work XD9 up front and Work VS-MX rear

I sold the rims specifically to get my street set of rims and for those that know me, know I’m a one piece wheel guy which means my choices are common. Work or Rays of course..

I found a dope set on yahoo auction and had to message a friend to get them for me ASAP! Funny enough I tried getting this exact set 3 months prior but was advised to wait for a better set. Which never happened pushing me to get them for sure when they popped up again.

1 weeks for shipper to ship and get to my friend, then 2 days to hand them over to a friend who had more free time to ship lastly, 4 days to get to me from Japan 😍..

Picking them up they looked perfect and the tires were new so I was more than happy… I’ll stop talking just look!

Work Emotion T7Rs 😘

Lost my marbles..

So November 2nd, 2017 was the day I lost my marbles(mind).. a good friend that lives about an hour from me has always talked about getting a Supra. Wether it was from selling his mustang or trading it for a Supra he wanted one. But it was on that day, that he sold his Mustang to his good friend and offered to buy mine. I was honestly terrified to sell it and didn’t know what I would really consider selling it for.. but we had had talked previously about prices and pretty much it was put to the side but when he was actually ready I didn’t want to be that guy to back out so I gave in for the chance. His friend drove him an hour just to come check out my Supra for the first time and he was sold. So we went to the bank for him to get a loan and the amount couldn’t be given due to the year of the car?! (So these expensive Supras that are 40k plus people are paying cash?!?!?! After 30mins of talking to the bank clerk we knew there wasn’t a way for him to get the car so we just hung out for a little and decided to head home. Of course them being in a mustang I had to race them soooooo….

Long overdue… but why?!

Soooo I fell off after the car was tuned! So, let’s get everyone back up to speed shall we?!

The car was tuned.. Coilpack number 4 had a huge crack which stopped the tuning at 1 bar and leaving it at 380whp. Not too shabby. So I drove back home that night being sure to not get into boost to where it would misfire. Upon getting how I saw the full set of spare coil packs that I regret for not bringing with me, and quickly replaced the bad one and BOOM! Car ran awesome!

Being that it was a Dyno tune it ran great at full throttle but at cruising speed or low speed, low throttle percentage the car bucked as if I was riding a bull. Pretty much ruined my show off time in parking lots. So I had a friend fine tune the car and we upped the boost to 1.1 bar and now HP is unknown haha estimated 420-450whp now at 1.1 Bar. The second that was done I had to leave Germany for 2 months due to work! Boy did I miss my car..

With me being gone, I was only able to post up local pictures of the cars and what I saw from Tacoma, Washington and Vacaville, California. There was some ups and downs with both places but overall a good experience from both! Washington, I was able to attend RHD Specialties which is by far an amazing place to purchase a JDM car. Then I went to a local car meet that had awesome people and the vibe was super chiiiill #Weed. Then going to NorCal(which is new to me as I’ve always been to and loved SoCal) was a cool experience as I’ve loved Cali’s car scene but NorCal and SoCal are totally different. While in Vacaville I didn’t have anything around to really due and luckily my last week there I was able to attend Sonoma Raceway. It was a drift and drag day that was awesome. Meet some cool guys and they showed me that the 350z will soon take over the S-Chassis legacy as they are a good base that is affordable.

Getting back home, I came back to a package from AMS Oil that I ordered through Speed Demon Pro(YouTube Channel). As well as my short lower water neck from CXRacing and Mishimoto lower temp thermostat from DriftMotion. I’ve yet to install either but I have had the opportunity to go to Hockenheimring for an open track day and get kicked off after one lap! Drove all the way up there to get kicked off from drifing. Didn’t get much footage but I’ll post the link to an Instagram guy who actually got footage of me being a rebel.

Lastly, I sold the CDW wheels that were on my car and have something new on the way!! #Rays #Work #SSR #Advan?!?

So stay tuned and ill be back up with updates!!
